THIS TRIP WAS FROM MID FEBRUARY TO APRIL 2005 & INVOLVED DRIVING FROM PERTH TO MELBOURNE, EMBARKING ON THE 'SPIRIT OF TASMANIA II' TO DEVONPORT THEN TRAVELLING ALONG THE NORTH WEST COAST TO STANLEY, PROCEEDING SOUTH DOWN THE WEST COAST VIA ARTHUR RIVER, CORINNA, ZEEHAN, ROSEBERY & STRAHAN.  FROM STRAHAN WE DROVE DOWN TO LAKE PEDDER THEN ONTO HOBART. FROM HOBART WE PROCEEDED DOWN THE EAST COAST TO SOUTHPORT TAKING IN BRUNY ISLAND ALONG THE WAY.   THEN NORTH TO RICHMOND, ACROSS TO PORT ARTHUR, UP THE EAST COAST TO ST. HELENS, THEN ACROSS TO LAUNCESTON VIA SCOTTSDALE.  FROM LAUNCESTON WE WENT WEST TO DELORAINE, MOLE CREEK & CRADLE MOUNTAIN. AFTER CRADLE MOUNTAIN WE PROCEEDED NORTH TO PENGUIN, THEN EAST TO BELLINGHAM ON THE NORTH EAST COAST VIA DEVONPORT, BEACONSFIELD, BELL BAY & GEORGETOWN. THE FINAL PART OF OUR TASMANIAN TRIP WAS TO LILYDALE THEN BACK TO DEVONPORT & ACROSS TO THE MAINLAND ON THE 'SPIRIT OF TASMANIA I'. THE WEATHER FOR THE MAJORITY OF OUR STAY WAS SUNNY WITH ONLY A FEW RAINY DAYS IN BETWEEN.
